Learning To Fly

Using a mixture of practical flying and simple ground theory (ground school), Flight Sport Aviation will be with you every step of the way to getting your licence.

  • We are a dedicated flight school with 7 instructors flying 5 aircraft, 7 days a week.

  • We offer a full range of PPL training.

Our NPPL (M) training is carried out in our Ikarus C42's whilst our Group A training is completed in our Piper PA28 or CESSNA 152.

  • We offer advanced flying training to students wishing to learn more about the limits of the aircraft and advanced manoeuvring. Including Night ratings and IR(R).

  • Medical links

  • Once you are qualified, you gain automatic membership to our rental club This allows you to rent and build your hours on an aircraft you are already familiar with.

  • As a student, you will have full access to our club facilities at Deanland Airfield and Brighton City Airport (Shoreham).

  • Once you are able to rent our aircraft, you can take them away overnight. We offer 24 hour support to all renters when away from base.

  • We arrange regular fly outs to different airfields in the UK and abroad for our students (with an instructor) and Renters.
